Industries

With the development of the railroad, Bonner County experienced its first boom of people with hundreds of men coming through the area for work. Many traveled through the county with the railroad, Forest Service, or in other forest and farm roles preparing the land for development and the migration of settlers.

We can thank persistent industry workers and determined early settlers for the community we know today. Appreciate a look into their experiences and early homesteads in this exhibit.
